Byungkyun Kang

Byungkyun Kang is currently a research assistant professor. He received his PhD in Physics from Texas Tech University (TTU) in 2014. From 2015 to 2020, Dr Kang was a Research Associate at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea, Arkansas State University, and Brookhaven National Laboratory. In addition, Dr Kang was a software engineer working for a company from 2006 to 2009. He joined the Zhu’s group in January 2021. He will focus on the code development for machine learning force field development and nanoparticle simulations. Since January 2023, Dr. Kang move to the University of Delaware as the software Engineer.
