Pedro A. Santos Florez is currently a postdoc at UNLV, studying computational physics, with emphasis on condensed matter. He received his PhD in Physics from University of Campinas - Brazil in 2020. He also holds a M.S. in Physics from University of Campinas in Brazil and a B.S. in Physics from National University of Colombia. His current work focuses on modeling and simulation of new materials using machine learning interatomic potentials.
